It is engineered beautifully in a combination of an Arca-type baseplate and a quick-release camera mounting plate secured by a clamp lever.
And multiple threaded holes let you mount the camera to handles, L-brackets, cages, tripods, jib, or other mounts and make moving from one setup to the next super convenient for you.
Also, the screws and rubber cushions are there for camera attachment and protection.

However, it is important to note that it is not compatible with the camera mounting plate of the gimbal.
